Great Yarmouth Swimming Club was delighted to have one of their swimmers selected to compete at the recent British Summer National Championships. Honey Harvey was invited to swim at the British Summer Nationals, for an impressive third consecutive year, which were held from the 25th-30th of July, at Ponds Forge Sheffield. The top 25 swimmers in each age group, in Great Britain were invited by the ASA, with Honey being invited for one of her favourite events: the 200m breaststroke. Honey competed very well but on this occasion didn't reach the final.
She was then invited again for the England Summer National meet on August 2nd, also at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, where the top 20 competed in the 100m breaststroke. Honey swam exceptionally well, reaching the final in which she placed 5th, knocking nearly a second off her personal best in the process, with an impressive time of 1.16.69. Great Yarmouth Swimming Club is extremely proud of Honey’s achievements and congratulates her on her swims.
