For many years the Great Yarmouth Swimming Club has greatly benefited from the generosity of local businesses, development agencies and individuals. The funds that they have provided through various sponsorship arrangements, grants and donations, directly improve the services the club can provide for the swimmers.

In today's business environment with its increasing awareness of corporate social responsibility, sponsorship of a competitive swimming club presents an ideal opportunity for a business to invest in its local community.

Great Yarmouth Swimming Club is an historic and highly regarded club. Its swimmers, who are mainly aged between 6 and 18, attend approximately 52 swimming competitions a year. These competitions are newsworthy, reported in the local press and provide plenty of positive publicity material for potential sponsors. An association with Great Yarmouth Swimming Club is not just about good publicity; there is also the satisfaction of helping young local athletes succeed and achieve their goals.

The club would like to attract a lead sponsor to:

• Fund the cost of travel to approximately 20 ‘away' galas, which its squads attend throughout the region each year.
• Sponsor club T-shirts, hats, bags, etc to be used at these galas and all other events.

Other sponsorship opportunities also exist to:

• Help fund the club website, club championship galas or company sponsored swimming competitions.
• Donations of any amount are always most gratefully received and often provide extra training equipment.
