Norfolk Junior League Final Report

Saturday saw the final of the Norfolk Junior League held at Wymondham. Against the strong opposition the Great Yarmouth team found it very tough going and finished fifth. The final result was: U.E.A(B) 204, U.E.A.(A) 201, Norwich Swan 164, Dereham 143, Great Yarmouth 107 and Diss Otters 67.
First places came from the 12/u boys, Isaac Kirby, Breastroke and Fly, Jack Utting, Backstroke with a second in the I/M. Jack Walker and Declan Scott joined the Relay team and came through to win the Medley and Freestyle. The 9 yrs Relay team of Jack Collins, Callum Stannard, Miles Houghton, and Joshua Ford pushed the U.E.A. team hard but had to be content with second place.

For the the 10/u girls Lauren James fought hard and kept with the leading swimmers but could not catch the first two and finished third. Katherine Turton suffered the same fate in the 12/u Breastroke. Fourth places came from Grace Baxter, Freestyle, Taylor Hudson, Breastroke, Aderlaide Loveland, Freestyle, Laura Loveland, Backstroke, Paige Lovage, Fly, and James Walker, Freestyle.

Other team members were, Lily Johnson, Emily Loveland, Clarissa Burwood, Carys Edwards, Emily Alcand, Amelia Driver, Isobel Robbins, Loretta Askew, Daniella Page, Joshua Clifton, Aaron Hudson, Liam Hanley, Ashvin Seetul, Alexander Goff, Thomas Clarke, Oliver Tedstone, and Patrick Manning.
