Volunteering with the Great Yarmouth Swimming Club

Dear GYSC Member

If you are already involved with us, or another voluntary organisation, then you will no doubt be aware of the need and the reward in helping to run such an organisation.

The Great Yarmouth Swimming Club has a duty to its members to be well organised and well managed. All this is achieved by the member's themselves and those members are you and I.

The General Committee is the place where all the decisions are made and it meets once a month. If you were to join this committee you would be making a valuable contribution to the Great Yarmouth Swimming Club and in turn your local community.

There are opportunities to become involved as much or as little as you like. You may wish to simply attend meetings because you care about the club and wish to see how it is run or you may be someone who likes to bring fresh ideas and drive them forward, it really is your choice. No special skills are required and you will always find a kind and helpful welcome on a GYSC committee.

We currently have vacancies for five new committee members.

If you would like to benefit from volunteering and you think GYSC is an organisation that you would like to help, then please make your interest known, now!

GYSC
