Suffolk Summer League 2011 Final Rounds

On the 2nd July the club competed in two 'final' competitions of the Suffolk Summer League. We had a team in the 'A' final at Stowmarket where we finished a very creditable fourth and a team at Bungay where we were unable to take too many points off the competition.

Team GY at the County Challenge 2011

The last two weeks has seen the Norfolk County ASA Challenge Galas at Thetford. There were 90 events to enter with Great Yarmouth having 93 places in the first 6, of these 17 were first, 19 were second and 15 were third.

Records fall to Great Yarmouth duo at Regional Championships

Great Yarmouth SC Swimmers, Jack Utting and Isaac Kirby were in action earlier this month at the British Gas Regional Championships held in Norwich. The East Region event brings together the best talent in swimming throughout the six counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire in the 10-14 years age groups.

Norwich & Peterborough Gala 2011

The Great Yarmouth team finished third in this years Norwich & Peterborough Gala held last weekend at the Phoenix Pool. There were some fine swims from all the competitors with the team from Beccles Kingfishers winning the trophy.
