Phoenix Pool Closed - Monday 5th December

The Phoenix Pool has had to be closed this evening at short notice. the pool will remain closed until midday on Monday 5th December and so we have unfortunately had to cancel our Monday early morning squad swimming session.

Due to ill health, the club will have to cancel the squad swimming sessions at the High School Pool tonight.

Age Group Championship 2011

The 2011 Age Group Championships were held last weekend at the Phoenix pool. It was good to see a large number of entrants who treated the large number of spectators to some really excellent swimming. The proceeds of the Sunday night event were donated to the 'Leah Wilby Foundation' which thanks to the generosity of club members and their guests raised £216.37p

Great Yarmouth Win C H Beckett Trophy

At a very exciting gala on Sunday morning Great Yarmouth won the second round of the C H Beckett Gala and became the overall C H Beckett Champions. Teams from North Norfolk Vikings, Long Stratton and Harleston gave the two Great Yarmouth teams some great competition in this popular gala.
