Suffolk Summer League 2011 Round 1
Sunday, 17 April 2011 11:54
The club sent two teams to Leiston last night to compete in the first round of the Suffolk Summer League. With the Easter holidays making some swimmers unavailable it meant extra pressure on those that were available to attend. Chief Coach, Garry Jarvis said "Well done to you all, a really good team effort" he added "As a coach I could not be more proud of you all. Some of you having to swim for the club for the first time, in a hard gala and most of you having to swim up in age groups. With holidays, car break-downs and one swimmer failing to show up, the team was hastily changed on the night but you all swam for each other and I cannot thank you enough for your efforts".
