Club Meets the Politicians
Monday, 01 March 2010 09:03
A delegation from the Great Yarmouth Swimming Club met with the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Brandon Lewis last month. It was an opportunity for the club to explain their current success and describe their vision for the future. It follows on from a similair meeting that the club held with our M.P. Tony Wright last year.
The club believes that in order to improve the facilities for competitive swimming in the Borough of Great Yarmouth it will require extensive lobbying at a political level and a great deal of support from the residents of the town. Paola Moore, the Club Chairman said "Mr. Lewis, who is a keen sportsman himself, was very supportive of our plans". Page 1 of 8
